Jesus thus becomes the saviour not only of israel but the world. And also, the future gentile mission is pointed too: jesus"s word will gather the gentiles into the kingdom. Conclusion 1: jesus is yhwh/the son of god. Mark in the way he arranges various stories from the jesus tradition, makes a coherent argument: the themes of each section build to the conclusion jesus is yhwh, this is meaning through structure. This is not how we do history: we tend to arrange things in chronological order in our historiography (historical narratives) It shows that jesus"s miracles were used to show he was the christ, the heavenly messiah. It is jesus"s teaching / word that gathers israel and world into the kingdom of god: seed parables, feeding stories. His teaching is symbolized by bread: and connected to seed/grain that makes bread.
