B4 the crtc the gov. participated in the decision making process (now: telecommunications & broadcasting) The gov. decided to intervene in fields that were considered important to be intervened in it. The gov. should never intervene in anything in order to let the people be free. In order to be free and employers and corporations to be free = the best possible way. The legislative assembly has the power of the people. The gov. (the executive branch) should intervene at the condition that laws authorize and or ordered the executive branch to do or not to do things. Initially the crtc was created through the broadcasting act. More precisely taken care of the existence of the institution called "crtc" In order for the crtc to be able to do what the gov. of canada wants it to do. Powers given to the crtc as it had been doing (transferring powers from the broadcasting act ---> crtc)
