Regarding social norms, we have already indicated above that we understand bioethics in a broad sense, that is, including bioethical, biomoral and biopolitical issues. Whatever these investigations are or that are proposed, it is hoped that our classification system can be an instrument that serves to highlight the practical problems that arise depending on the type of social norms involved. The indicators that have been taken into account can be simple (for example, an absolute figure such as the death rate) or composite, that is, constructed on the basis of several simple indicators. Those with a general descriptive value to the detriment of particularities have been selected.
