Lecture 17: certainly, society is characterized by the disparity of beliefs and ideas of good. Basic points: bioethics deals with the ethical conflicts that derive from the advances of science and medicine, he flees from extreme moral positions and does not intend to give definite and definite answers. In the face of conflicts, it aims to provide elements for critical and reasoned reflection: calls for decisions to be made in a context of dialogue and respect. What does the bioethics committee do: the bioethics committee of catalonia addresses issues that affect society and, therefore, starts from a plural, multidisciplinary, independent, non-dogmatic and transparent approach. It is made up of members representing the world of medicine, health management, law and the humanities. It develops specific issues in different working groups made up of people who come from different disciplines and has created permanent committees aimed at analyzing specific issues in which experts participate.
