In the past 15 years it has become the hot debate : al gore"s inconvenient truth. Climate change we are experiencing now is caused by humans. A scientific introduction (video: triggers, you need a trigger to start this process. Past trigger: the change to the earth"s rotation around the sun: new trigger is involved: human activity, thresholds, threshold gets passed which leads to warming. Once the warming happens then it releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere: co2 and methane: feedback loops, we are in a positive feedback loop right now. Historically: our climate has been stable, approximately 14 degrees c, regulated, greenhouse effect 5 main gases, water vapor, co2, ch4, o3, n2o. Those are the 3 reasons that climates could possibly change. But we know that the current cause of climate change is because of human actions. Began with industrial evolution: co2 up approximately 31, ch4 up approximately 151, no2 up approximately 17%
