The concept of culture, the central concept of anthropology is one of the most in uential ideas of the 20th century. There are many ways of understanding this concept. Various de nitions of culture" by different scholars: the learned behaviors and symbols that allow people to live in groups. The primary means by which humans adapt to their environments. Various approaches: the range that exists in the de nitions of culture is obviously large. It is not that anthropologists disagree fundamentally on what culture is.
