As we go forward, there are less and less men enrolling in post-secondary education. 1 in 3 girls are denied their right to an education. Malala is doing a lot of work to advocate for women around the world to be able to go to school. It was primarily given to upper-class white males. It was more for if you were going into the church or related to it. People believed education was good for all, (just should get different education) Education is supported by state teaching is feminized Teaching staff went from primarily men to primarily women. They got women so they could be paid horribly. They were thought they were just going to leave to get pregnant anyways. And their husbands would support them anyways (financially) Girls were taught to cook and domestic things, (sewing) School teachers were one of the only acceptable job for middle class women (1800"s) This was just another way to separate people.
