What changes her: her encounter w/ his authentic self, her growing political awareness. Sense of self arising from matrix of society, culture, politics. Supposedly individual choices influenced by others & social structure. Psychology suggests that much of our thinking is outside our conscious awareness. That we may act out scripts from childhood. When issues in relationships in client"s life are played out in the clinical relationship. Issues in worker"s life can also create a parallel process.
