Document Summary
Social control theorists have a set agenda to try to control your behaviour. All laws must be vetted by the department of justice before they are passed. Believe behaviour must be controlled and punished. If we know why they comply, we can figure out why they deviate. All social groups make rules, and at some time and under some circumstance, try to enforce them. Social rules define behaviours and situations; some actions are right and others are wrong. When rules are enforced, the person that does not comply is seen as. May feel the judges of their behaviour are the outsiders different, untrustworthy, an outsider.
