Majority of cases of sexual offenders actually come from within the family: common law relationship (maintaining relationship with molester of children because you"re lonely, an older uncle/aunt, etc. ) Mainstream media may not want us to know this however, this is the reality: sexual aggression is most often seen in familial tied. We don"t know the extent, distribution or the frequency of the abuse. It"s seen as a secret: sexual predators, if caught, are given therapy prisons, jails, etc. Britain has concluded that putting sexual offenders in with the rest of the prison population is dangerous for everyone. Dispersal: sex offenders are placed in a lot of correctional facilities. Concentrated: putting all sex offenders in the same place/correctional facilities population. Have actually separated these people from the rest of the prison: less than 3% of the population are sex offenders, most of the programs for sex offenders have not be rigorously evaluated using social science evaluation.
