Values are usually share by members of the group or population these are general beliefs that tell us what is valuable and desirable, and what is also not valuable and undesirable. Values are the standards by which people define good and bad, beautiful and ugly. Something that is part of the university culture is drinking alcohol binge drinking in. Language has 3 important characteristics it allows human experience to be cumulative, you can pass things from one generation to the next, it allows the next generation to build on the next generation.
