I am writing to you and to agree with you on some of the items you have carefully explained in your article inside the entitlement generation . In this article wente portrays childhood and adolescence as an expanding stage of life. Wente brings about the idea that young adults in the modern day do not easily part with their childhood, they have this entitled mindset that their parents will always be there for them and take care of their lives. Wente offers the idea that the generation of adults has brained washed the youth into believing that their future is set and there is no excuse for failure. Parent who mollycoddle their children often take away the child"s freedom to socialize and isolate them this gives rise to inadequate social skills to survive in society therefore induces more dependency on their parents.
