51% of adults in their 20s live at home. 1 in 3 parents are mortgaging their homes to support their children. Italian culture - it is normal for them to stay home. 1 in 4 young adults between 20 and 30 have returned home at least twice. The average student in uni has a 28,000 debt. Unemployment for young people is almost double than any other population. 25 and you"re out rule - (i think good) The amount of financial support and guidance they get from parents is the largest deciding factor how kids will do in life. In the 50s people would be moved out, have kids, have a job and be married by the mid twenties often. Boomers were more concerned about their children"s self-esteem.
