Easily to cope with interest, harder to cope with confusion. Remember that it sill moivates us to try and igure it out. Key ideas in introducion: noion that our experience self is diferent than our remembering self. There is discrepancy between what we felt at the ime and how we recall a paricular event. Menions peak-and-end research retrospecive accounts of something are inluenced primarily by peak and end moments of that something, more so than duraion, mean or sum of the experience. Experiencing self (lives in present and has only the present) versus remembering self (keeps score and maintains the story of our life). Objecive vs subjecive experience subjecive measure of subjecive experience is how you felt something went your own feelings about it.
