Altruis(cid:373) is (cid:449)he(cid:374) (cid:455)ou do(cid:374)(cid:859)t (cid:272)o(cid:374)sider the (cid:272)ost a(cid:374)d benefits, you are just helping the other individual: the bystander effect people do not help. It is not necessarily altruistic: empathy-altruism (without cost/benefit) people can be altruistic without considering the cost or benefit.
