Document Summary

Biological theories: eysenck"s theory is that three overall traits are determined by genes. With him, we are starting to consider the fact that a part of our personality is decided by our genes. Eysenck believes that our personality is broken into 3 dimensions: Things that make us more shy or not: stable or unstable. Has to do with whether we are more calm or anxious: psychoticism. Having to do with psychological disorders: he said that these traits are in our genetic chromosomal makeup. The correlation of the two twins scores on different personalities was very substantial. This leads us to conclude that in terms of personality, a lot of it is born from genetics, chromosomes, and heredity: evaluating the biological model, our personalities are in part determined by our genetics. At the same time, there is a lot of issues. Heritability, the fact is that when we talk about it, there are a number of different measures of heritability.
