This is an effective way for everyone to learn. (there is a study session already up for mid-term 1. Often when students study, they read the textbook and when they study they read it all over again. Reading the text over again isn"t actually isn"t an effective use of time. It is better to write in your own words. This is an active way of learning, and studies prove it is more effective. In the next section, the psychology of academic success is what i put in here, it isn"t in the textbook. This allows us to go from a real world problem to academic study to real world outcomes. Recap: last class we left of at the measures of central tendency. This tells us how spread out is the data among the group (being studied) There are a number of ways to measure this, but range is the one we will look at most.
