Terrorism but when it is homegrown, we usually don"t use that language: counterterrorist measures: do they work, taken by government, policies redefined to consider this threat, counterterrorism corresponds to actions to ameliorate the threat and consequences of terrorism. It is not clear exactly what they mean and they don"t clearly specify it: questions, security for whom, usually the state, or individual, or the population. He lists eight: wants to show that security and fundamental liberties is not contradictory, fallacy 1: others give up their rights for your security, under the law, not all people seem to be treated equally. If you are male, white, middle class, you are less likely to feel like your rights will be violated. If you are not in that category, you are more likely to feel like you have to give up your rights: other people give up their rights for your security.
