Universalized expanding: need to make cultures more universal, homogenous means to make them more alike. Cultures need to be made more universalized and homogenized. We have ways of seeing things and doing things (certain perceptions and practices) Therefore we have ideas of what people within certain boundaries care about (what most concerns them) What people care about even when it does affect them: influences way people behave and act.
