Spiritual crisis not just a bad time, acutely bad time bad in sense that it"s confused. Time that humans are unable to make a sense of their own experience or their collective experience. Time when we are unable to focus on what in imp in our experience. Diff in opinion as to what is imp in a spiritual crisis (spirit purpose) No clue of what personal or collective experience is. Inability to focus on experience underlying concern is not functioning properly; it is confused when it comes to overarching metaphor. Roots ground a tree if you have a dysfunction root syst, tree topples over and dies overarching metaphor is kind of thing that. Metha (with/beyond/above) and phoros (over) to carry over what you are w/ Carries experience up transcendence (when you lose a sense of transcendence, life doesn"t mean anything)
