Nagel"s main conclusion: we cannot even conceive of how physicalism can be true. Let"s think back to descartes: we are either extended or thinking things, we can conceive of ourselves exising without a body. Nagel"s point is not to imagine all this random stuf. Cant make the subjecive work objecively without it becoming objecive (there is an untranslaionability since once you make something objecive, then it no longer has its beauty as subjecive) Many things that are somewhat subjecive can be objeciied.
