I suffered a sprained ankle and knee dislocation twice, and it was by powering through and knowing when to back off that i was still able to achieve my goal in skating. I think that i improved my mental fitness the most this year, as i went to physio every day for about three weeks straight, when i"d rather be at the rink. This was the only way i was able to step on the ice at provincials, having dislocated my knee three weeks prior.
