Only individual knows what is best and most fulfilling for self but there"s certain kinds of pursuits are better. Why defend people to engage in lower pursuits if argument for liberty is that it leads to greater utility for society. When think about liberty or limits on liberty, have to think beyond old concern with gov"ts and how they impact/ limit the choices of individuals, Really taking into account social opinion, how can it involve itself in lives of individuals. Present self in world how told to by tyranny of majority.
