Aboriginal corrective justice is something we can draw on to amend our own justice system and to ensure fairness for all: dp and aboriginal people. Many cases today are being resolved by plea bargaining, this is an issue that shows how little progress is made and issues being resolved. The scc can make pro due process victories for the accused people, however, in looking at the prison population, we can see that overrepresentation is increasing. Due process victories are not having an effect and the proof is within the prions. Due process is provoking and legitimizing crime control. Decisions coming from the scc that deal with bias and overrepresentation have a veneer of fairness and seem as though they are good idea, however, they do nothing.
