Lecture 1: introduction to the history of alcohol. This debate has been going on for many thousands of years and its still ongoing today. Frosh week as an example was a time on campus that was celebrated using alcohol where now its known as a dry week in most universities. A lot if not all big celebrations are around or serving of alcoholic beverages. Men, if they can heavily drink they are known as more manly lets say. Social drinking, one shouldn"t be drinking unless there is someone drinking with them. Need to take into count all the people that are drinking or disregard those that are not drinking. When do people start drinking? is it 19 (drinking age) or is it younger then this. Wine being superior to beer, and certain people can drink wine. Prohibition, and how was alcohol used in this time. Islamic prohibition, consuming alcohol is a crime.
