Money enables you to move farther away from the city. You"d have money to afford bus fare ect. The idea that the women should be at home and the man at work. It"s unnatural for a women to work, not moral/ virtuous. It was important for the people that home were a heaven. A cozy home was important to them unlike the working class they live where they can. Need to represent family bring someone from work home. Help their kids raising money for charity. A women"s job was to create the right image if the husband were to. Companionate love is important but it"s not like what we consider love, it"s more like 2 people that get along and may have a chance to hit it off and eventually fall in love. It"s more of an arranged marriage done by the parents. Children should be treated as children and not like little humans.
