1945- to the present there has been no major conflicts, except for conflicts in places like. Yugoslavia breaking up, there have been major global crises. Process of de-nazification in germany- this whole process of ridding german society of the last vestiges of nazi-ism. Europe was devastated as a result of second world war. There are immediate consequences of the war, and long term consequences. The post war period is the lasted 53 years. We are still living in the post war period and we still see implications of the ww2 in modern day politics. Creation of israel in the late 1940s had implications that we are still dealing with today in the middle east. Main issues from the 1950s to the 1970s in europe. People have an impression of easy sexual relationships and people partnering. The quintessential image of the 1960s is a man and a woman, the period was sexist and anti- feminist.
