Cornerstone of the interacive documentary (hypertext: hypertext: a space where informaion is presented in non-chronological order so that the reader/viewer may take in the informaion as they please. Of the status of the spectator: engages the spectator diferently. In convenional cinema, they are expected only to watch (and someimes think). In the context of the hypertext, a new possibility comes into being: the paricipaion of the spectator. Of the nature of reality: foregrounding construcion, in reality, at all imes, things are happening all over the world, but we are not aware of all of it. Our minds select/edit reality for our own purposes. So the interacive documentary quesions the way we experience reality or the way we think we do (in a linear fashion).
