Initially described in the 1990s as an early theropod. Shares with other sauropodomorphs skull features related to herbivory, thumb claw rotated forward. Animals that big tests processes such as: Thriving with worldwide distribution in the early jurassic, including canada (nova scotia) and even antarctica. Probably not monophyletic group; some closely related to sauropods.
