Tse lecture 10 water resource utilization in tanzania. Project focuses on water access and utilization. Maximum amount of water available to collect is 400 l, but when water levels are low, the maximum amount of water per week is 20 l. Dragons den: presented the 9 ideas to the community leaders. A very affordable way to bring in water to a community. The project consists of bringing down the cost of these clay filters. There is no continuous flow of water in rivers. Uses a sand dam to filter water. Sand is very porous and builds up on the edge of the damn, allowing one to collect water through a well system. Great location for hosting meetings and water workshops. Working on developing an open source weather app, so anyone can have access to the weather. Failed project at first, but they are working on it to make it better.
