Ecor 1010 lecture 21 electrical and mechanical engineering. Here at carleton, we are good at rfc"s (radio frequency circuits) We have a microfab lab here at carleton. We have an anechoic chamber here at carleton. Anechoic chamber: the room sounds dead; there is no bounce of waves within the room. Sending more than one signal at the same time over one wire. Time division multiplexing: sending several signals along a wire, at different times. Using separate radio frequencies: sending signals at different frequencies. Very complex devices, with applications to various sectors of electrical engineering. Indicates the direction of travel of electromagnetic waves. Can indicate if a particular person is generating too much power. A small tag that contains information regarding a particular product. Ex: an rfid tag on a pair of jeans would say i am blue, size xy, from xy stores.
