Centralization of forms of law, mostly through religious approaches, was used in the state (government) Western history: law was a form of moral regulation, surrounding around christianity and its beliefs. Early industrialization required a law to protect to maintain social distribution (conflict theory, negative light to view law), protecting the bourgeois, capitalist view. Public demanding law in certain aspects (positive, consensus theory) Demanding rights for prisoners (positive, consensus theory) Consensus and conflict theory both still exist today as different views/beliefs towards law.
