Incentives: survey given to all participants, given as part of larger study context, care still needed to ensure good participation. Likert scales: likert scales are used for measuring opinions, attitudes, and beliefs, and consequently they are widely used for evaluating user satisfaction with products. Gather a pool of short statements about the subject to be investigated. How to represent the scale: even number scale forces them to choose a stance. This is bad though when they genuinely don"t care. Prof likes odd numbers so they can choose middle one: 3. Select items for the final questionnaire and reword as necessary to make them clear. Limesurvey: free, open source, php/sql, customizible templates, questions, etc, hide/show branches. Limesurvey structure: survey, group, questions, questions: type, text, help, details, etc. Limesurvey process: create survey, print survey in pdf, open survey, make limit access, use tokens, restrict usage.
