But: distinguish between participation in organised religion and belief in supernatural deity: according to 2011 poll, 25% of canadians who attend weekly religious services do not believe in god. 25% of canadians who believe in god do not identify with any religion. Organized religion emerged later in time then religion in the sense of some belief in some super natural entity and practices surrounding that main belief. Belief in supernatural deity or deities: there exists a superhuman, supernatural intelligence who deliberately designed and created the universe and everything in it, including us.
