You can use your talent resources, your machineries, money resources for a variety of things to give you that economy of scope: output: Globalization: company"s bottom lines are going down but they aren"t lowering prices. Good: let the best do it for us, more choice for consumers, cheaper gods, raised awareness of other cultures, expanded markets for goods/service producers, expanded market can boost innovation, extended life of technologies. Bad: drives labour price down, global economy can dictate local production, small and poor countries run by giant corporations.
