Individual level: taken-for-granted, age or development stage level of specific investments, experience with iors. This avoids uncertain unfortunate events and its good for backup. Three main characteristics: key players - a diverse range of actors and organizations, some of which emerge as keystones upon which the ecosystem becomes dependent. Diversity, nestedness, and resiliency: the nestedness of organizational ecosystems is observed mostly through overlaps in the functions and priorities of the various actors and organizations that comprise an ecosystem. Less often, actors and organizations are completely nested within a larger organization.
