Document Summary
Stranded beach rigdes: sometimes there are beach ridges that are far away from this water. These plants got here because of the former shore lines of the sea. These are important because they are drained and therefore are important for arctic foxes because these animals keep their young in the ground in dens. These are also important, for the same reason, for: They go to the mudflats and dig their beak deep down into the mud. Plovers rest on ridges because they are not as wet. When the tides go out, vast mudflat provide important feeding sites for sandpipers and plovers. Nich partitioning: features of an animal that allows for different abilities for feeding, etc. For example, some sandpipers and some plovers have different features that allow for different types of feeding and eating. Further in land in the tundra, the ecosystem is a lot drier.
