So hummingbirds would be the primary pollinators for red coloured. Owers because they can see it: scents are close range attractants, evening primrose are closed during the day, however at dusk and night it opens up and releases its scent. Therefore it attracts their pollinators such as moths: wild ginger smells like rotting fungus because they are pollinated by fungus. Red trilliums smell like rotting esh, they are pollinated by ies drawn to carrion (called brood site deception: nectar guides can be landing targets for pollinators, flowers contain ultra violet patterns that insects can see but we can"t. Wednesday, november 22, 2017: a) can happen on the same plant (i. e coniferous trees - male owers of coniferous trees are usually near the bottom whereas females are near the top). Ower therefore transforms into a female: temporal sex changes = dichogamy, plants with spiral oral arrangements display dichogamy with a twist.
