Natural history is nature living, breathing, dynamic animals, plants. Natural history is the interaction between pants and animals. Natural history is the real world (it"s the only reality show) Natural history is an observational science (observation of living plants and animals- flora and fauna- and their interactions) Herpetologists: people who do research on snacks, turtles. Entomologists: people who do research on insects but people focus on flies, they are called. One of the most basic of all survival strategies is to avoid detection. Appearances camouflage=concealment( ) as a defenses using special color to hide yourself. An animal"s appearance closely resembles its immediate surroundings (e: sparrows , cattail marsh , american bittern. Ruffed grouse( partidge ), fawn white-tailed deer, gray tree frog. Cattail marshes is a very expanse of contrasting dark and light vertical lines due to the upright stems and leaves of the dominant plans. Many songbirds have eye lines and eye stripes for concealment.
