Spiders use silk, if silk dries out it gets brittle and breaks. Webs are hygroscopic (attracting moisture from the air) thus making it attracted to dew. Stabilimentum, which is the thick silk in the middle is full of uv re ectives, they are design not to scare away things but to attract things. The ies could think that the spider is a ower due to the uv patterns radiating o the spider. When insects see any kind of object, if there is ultra violet patterns present, they could see it but we can"t. They are muscular toes with big sharp claws at the end: osprey have special feet for catching sh (hover over water then dive feet. They both dive and use their feet: raptors - general term for bird of prey, some birds have specialized tongues to hold sh, some have specialized bills (i. e. merganser) - their bills have special two.
