This type of research directly relates psychological processes to health. Prevents infection: the growth of cells associated with disease. Body breaks down and the cells go wonky . It is spread throughout the body in the form of the lymphatic system. The link is cortisol and adrenaline: quiet down immune system. The endocrine system has a huge influence on the immune system: ie. Consists of lymphatic vessels and lymphatic organs. One way system that begins with lymphatic capillaries. Ends with a return of the lymph to the blood circulation. Located in a ring around the pharynx. Functions similar to that of lymph nodes.
