No lab on march 20th or 27th. Choose a fundamental movement skill (stability, locomotion, object manipulation, etc), a creative theme (developing life skills, character education, etc try to identify a deficit) and present two activities that match both. Each group will have 30 minutes to present. Must submit equipment request form minimum 24 hours in. Must demonstrate 1 refinement, 1 simplification, and 1 extension. Evaluated as a group, not as an individual advance to activities: make sure everybody has a chance to speak. Fundamental movement skill proficiency is more likely to be achieved with appropriate practice, encouragement, feedback, and instruction. they are afraid to try and present it to a group. A lot of the times we also see issues with this and/or improper planning. Fear of the unknown: if instructors are unclear on something, In a recent study of children aged 9-12, only half demonstrated proficiency in basketball skills such as throwing and dribbling.
