Quantitative data can be further categorized by discrete and continuous types. Discrete data: results when the number of possible values is either a finite number or a countable number. Continuous data: results from dad that holds infinite possible values that corresponds to some continuous scale that covers a range of numbers without and gaps or jumps. Data can also be organized according to levels. 1. nominal level: involves names and labels or categories that cannot be arranged in an order.
