Some families experience a lot of guilt when their child is diagnosed which can come from a lot of different things; a lot of self-blame. Not getting help sooner, not pushing a doctor when you believe there is hea(cid:396)i(cid:374)g loss a(cid:374)d the do(cid:272)to(cid:396) does(cid:374)(cid:859)t, p(cid:396)eg(cid:374)a(cid:374)(cid:272)(cid:455) guilt, etc. Less likely to make adjustments: level of participation of family. Commitment of the parent to carry over the therapy to home and teach othe(cid:396) people i(cid:374)(cid:448)ol(cid:448)ed (cid:449)ith the (cid:272)hild(cid:859)s life.
