Set up situaions when child needs to request. Likely to elicit request for acion to solve the problem. Omit essenial informaion from novel/unfamiliar task: introduce novel objects. Unfamiliar object and not name, or tell how it is use/does. Prompt the child speciically to ask someone else for informaion in a direcive way. Tempt the child with something desirable to elicit the objects request. Making statement about the object (that the child might like) and you wait. Passes the snack to everyone and skips the child, makes the child realize and request: responding to requests. More signal that the child needs to require something. They posses the answer/informaion and they need to required to say something. The clinician will reinforce any response from the child.
