Commensal: one organism benefiting from another without causing any harm (i. e. guest at a dinner party) Parasites: come and utilize you and will eventually cause harm (i. e. person that takes advantage of us, capable of causing us harm. Microbiomes: are developing as mutualistic, mutualism: Different species need each other for survival (i. e. cows eat grass and digest cellulose- organisms an not live without the cow) Example: cats pass toxoplasma because cats eliminate the parasite in their stool. Human microbiome project: aims to map out microbiomes across the world and how it differs. Agents that cause infectious disease (baily fucks vegetables pretty proudly hell almighty) Bacteria: unicellular, eubacteria infect us and cause problems.
