Legionella respiratory disease: can be transferred through the air ( ex. vents ) Prevalence- proportion of a population found to have a condition. Incidence- measure of the probability of occurrence of a given medical condition in a population within a specified period of time. Prevalence= cases over a period of time. Pandemic = the whole or vast majority of the world. A disease outbreak is the occurrence of cases of disease in excess of what would normally be expected in a defined community, geographical area or season.
