The immune system is strategically positioned it is everywhere. Immune system = mobile cells of immune system travel looking for antigen. Immune system = diversified every cell has a job however they can cover one another when something goes wrong. Immune system = redundantly specialized difference cells and processes can cover for each other. Immune system = communicative - cells of the immune system talk to one another virtue of the proteins that they produce over the course of antigen. Red bone marrow hematopoiesis produces blood cells, red cells, platelets and all blood cells in the body are produced here. 2 types of cells myeloid and lymphoid (slide shows both cells and the cells within their group. Look up definitions of all the cells of the immune system on this slide. Innate immune system is always there its ready. When innate immunity has done all it can, it passes over to the adaptive immune system.
