Components of distribution: less income=greater tendency to be ill, when are people getting a disease, and where do people get ill. Public health: help people so they do not become a case of illness, change frequency of illness. Sporadic events: nothing to really be concerned about, once it becomes more and more severe it becomes endemic or epidemic/pandemic. Endemic: condition that persists in a specific cohort or geographical region.
