The great war: bringing home front to battlefront. Government failed to pass a bill giving women the ability to vote. Her and a number of women marched in protest. Emmeline(cid:495)s daughter(cid:495)s job was to plot ways of getting their issue noticed. Marchese & rallies in parliament often became violent. Women march on london: hid hammers in their cuffs, when got into downtown they smashed windows, whatever they could, they damaged, one of the reasons emmeline got arrested. Members of this women(cid:495)s union were incredibly militant; they became more. Emily davison ran onto race course and grabbed king(cid:495)s horse=died a few: one of their bravest women days later violent. These women spent a lot of time in jail: would do hunger strikes in jail to rebel, government officials would force feed them, this turned a lot of people in favor for these women.
